*4882a593Smuzhiyun Link Access Procedure, Balanced (LAPB) is the data link layer (i.e.
*4882a593Smuzhiyun the lower) part of the X.25 protocol. It offers a reliable
*4882a593Smuzhiyun connection service to exchange data frames with one other host, and
*4882a593Smuzhiyun it is used to transport higher level protocols (mostly X.25 Packet
*4882a593Smuzhiyun Layer, the higher part of X.25, but others are possible as well).
*4882a593Smuzhiyun Usually, LAPB is used with specialized X.21 network cards, but Linux
*4882a593Smuzhiyun currently supports LAPB only over Ethernet connections. If you want
*4882a593Smuzhiyun to use LAPB connections over Ethernet, say Y here and to "LAPB over
*4882a593Smuzhiyun Ethernet driver" below. Read
*4882a593Smuzhiyun <file:Documentation/networking/lapb-module.rst> for technical
*4882a593Smuzhiyun details.

*4882a593Smuzhiyun To compile this driver as a module, choose M here: the
*4882a593Smuzhiyun module will be called lapb. If unsure, say N.
