*4882a593SmuzhiyunDescription:
*4882a593Smuzhiyun The /sys/devices/.../waiting_for_supplier attribute is only
*4882a593Smuzhiyun present when fw_devlink kernel command line option is enabled
*4882a593Smuzhiyun and is set to something stricter than "permissive". It is
*4882a593Smuzhiyun removed once a device probes successfully (because the
*4882a593Smuzhiyun information is no longer relevant). The number read from it (0
*4882a593Smuzhiyun or 1) reflects whether the device is waiting for one or more
*4882a593Smuzhiyun suppliers to be added and then linked to using device links
*4882a593Smuzhiyun before the device can probe.
*4882a593Smuzhiyun
*4882a593Smuzhiyun A value of 0 means the device is not waiting for any suppliers
*4882a593Smuzhiyun to be added before it can probe. A value of 1 means the device
*4882a593Smuzhiyun is waiting for one or more suppliers to be added before it can
*4882a593Smuzhiyun probe.
