*4882a593Smuzhiyun Read-edid is a pair of tools for reading the EDID from a
*4882a593Smuzhiyun monitor. It should work with most monitors made since 1996
*4882a593Smuzhiyun (except for newer ones with 256-byte EDID's - WiP), assuming
*4882a593Smuzhiyun the video card supports the standard read commands (most
*4882a593Smuzhiyun do). Read-edid is a set of two tools - get-edid, which gets
*4882a593Smuzhiyun the raw edid information from the monitor, and parse-edid,
*4882a593Smuzhiyun which turns the raw binary information into an
*4882a593Smuzhiyun XF86Config-compatible monitor section.
