kbuild: change out-of-tree buildThis commit changes the working directorywhere the build process occurs.Before this commit, build process occurred under the sourcetree for both in-tree and out-of-tree build.That's why we needed to add $(obj) prefix to all generatedfiles in makefiles like follows: $(obj)u-boot.bin: $(obj)u-bootHere, $(obj) is empty for in-tree build, whereas it pointsto the output directory for out-of-tree build.And our old build system changes the current working directorywith "make -C " syntax when descending into thesub-directories.On the other hand, Kbuild uses a different ideato handle out-of-tree build and directory descending.The build process of Kbuild always occurs under the output tree.When "O=dir/to/store/output/files" is given, the build systemchanges the current working directory to that directory andrestarts the make.Kbuild uses "make -f $(srctree)/scripts/Makefile.build obj="syntax for descending into sub-directories.(We can write it like "make $(obj)=" with a shorthand.)This means the current working directory is always the topof the output directory.Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada Tested-by: Gerhard Sittig List of files: /rk3399_rockchip-uboot/post/lib_powerpc/fpu/Makefile

PPC: fix "Warning: FOO uses hard float, BAR uses soft float".It appears that with recent versions of GCC the explicit"-mhard-float" command line option takes precedence over the``asm(".gnu_attribute 4, 2");'' in the source file, so this no longerhelps to avoid the warnings we get when linking code that uses FPinstructions with other code that was built using soft-float.We can remove the ".gnu_attribute" (which appears to carry no otherinformation, at least so far) from the object files, but we also haveto make sure we don't pull in the __gcc_qsub() and __gcc_qmul()functions from the standard libgcc, as these would again "infect" ourlinking. We copy this code from: gcc-4.2.2/gcc/config/rs6000/darwin-ldouble.cThis old version was chosen because it was still available under acompatible license (GCC v2+). Switch from archive libraries to partial linkingBefore this commit, weak symbols were not overridden by non-weak symbolsfound in archive libraries when linking with recent versions ofbinutils. As stated in the System V ABI, "the link editor does notextract archive members to resolve undefined weak symbols".This commit changes all Makefiles to use partial linking (ld -r) insteadof creating library archives, which forces all symbols to participate inlinking, allowing non-weak symbols to override weak symbols as intended.This approach is also used by Linux, from which the gmake functioncmd_link_o_target (defined in config.mk and used in all Makefiles) isinspired.The name of each former library archive is preserved except forextensions which change from ".a" to ".o". This commit updatesreferences accordingly where needed, in particular in some linkerscripts.This commit reveals board configurations that exclude some features butinclude source files that depend these disabled features in the build,resulting in undefined symbols.
